Goulard Lumber (1971) Ltd. was first established in 1948 and is now a fourth generation family owned and operated softwood lumber sawmill located in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. The primary species manufactured at this facility are red and white pine and the majority of the fibre are provided through a Ministry of Natural Resources Supply Agreement from the Nipissing, Temagami, Sudbury and French-Severn Forests.
A small percentage of our fibre comes from local and regional private landowners, as well as from the Temagami and Nipissing First Nation lands.
The company’s sawmill operation is designed to meet the customers’ ever-changing needs. Flexibility allows us to produce various items and dimensions in various forms, from green rough to graded air dried, to finished stock.
Goulard Lumber was founded in 1948 by Romeo Goulard, in partnership with his father Hector, and brothers Leo and Guy Goulard Lumber has been a family-owned and operated business since its inception. In 2012 Goulard Lumber proudly welcomed the fourth generation of Goulards to the management team.
